Money, in Korea

If you bring travelers check be prepared for a fee when changing them at the bank. It was also a slow process. There were many places that did not accept them such as the money exchange booths at the Airport.

Cash is king. And you will need some for a better deal or street shopping. 

When exchanging dollars make sure the bills are in good condition. No tears or writing on them.                   

Most places take a credit cards. If you only bring cash you can get a Korea pass at 7/11 or Lotta Mart.
It can be used as a credit card almost anywhere visa is accepted.
